One thing that I really loved about the "sell" to have the WGV established here. One of the big reasons was that the WGV would bring jobs to this area. Do you know of anyone that got a job out there? If you do, it isn't very many. Most of the help was imported.
Thanks County Commissioners and WGV. I believe all that was accomplished was a few land owners got a good price for land that wouldn't be worth that much for many years. Let alone to get it re-zoned for anything profitable.
